AMTAK Self Piercing Rivets
These specially developed Self Piercing Rivets are made by AMTAK and are used all over the world for fixing light parts to Valves, Pumps, and many other types of machinery.
The unique METAL-TACK™ & PUNCH PIN™ system is used for fastening labels, serial plates, cable clamps, etc... without Pre-Drilling base metal.
A single impact by the special Air Hammer drives the specially hardened self piercing rivets directly into most types of base metals for permanent fixing.
MORE THAN JUST A FASTENER -
                                           - THE COMPLETE FASTENING SYSTEM

The quick and easy method of fastening nameplates, tags, wiring clips etc.. to valves, pumps, motors and many different types of machinery.
An easy to use economical solution to fasten parts to metal permanently.
METAL-TACK™ & PUNCH PIN™ self piercing fasteners are used to fix light loads on steels, aluminium, copper  castings, with a hardness of up to 100 HRB (equal to 240 BRINELL).

PERMANENT FASTENING TO METAL : A Heavy-Duty Solution to Light-Load Fastening
METAL-TACK™ & PUNCH PIN™ use eliminates costly problems associated with other fastening methods. Adhesives are messy and may be less permanent.
Other fasteners that require drilled holes also require perfect alignment between base metal and attachment.
Drilling holes may cause damage by drilling too deeply and metal drill chips are difficult to completely clean up.
METAL-TACK™ & PUNCH PIN™ fasteners need only one single assembly action that  eliminates all these problems and provides a fast and permanent fastening for lightweight attachments.
METAL-TACK™ & PUNCH PIN™ fasteners are used for many applications :
  • Metal ID Serial Tags
  • Wiring & Cable Clips
  • Ground Connections
  • Balance Weights
  • Bar Coding Plates
  • Small component assembly

METAL TACK™  and PUNCH PIN™ self piercing fasteners are made from a specially tempered carbon steel with a Zinc Chromate plating to resist corrosion.
METAL TACK™ fasteners are also available in stainless steel and RDS tool steel
METAL TACK™  fasteners can resist traction force of up to 115 Kg while PUNCH PIN™ fasteners resist up to 100Kg depending on the base metal.

3 mm base metal  thickness is all that is need to fit a part with a METAL TACK™.
The PUNCH PIN™ fasteners have been specially developed to fix parts to sheet metal and to soft base metals.

To fastened wires & cables use  the special METAL TACK™ based TACK MOUNT™

NO DRILLING – NO BROKEN DRILLS - NO PROBLEMS !

Thin drills break easily – and frequently in the hole making extraction time consuming and costly.
METAL TACK™  and PUNCH PIN™  self piercing rivets make their own holes.
