Self piercing TACK MOUNT™ fasteners are in fact Panduit™ cable supports into which have been integrated a METAL-TACK™ .


How to fasten TACK MOUNT™ cable support onto most metals?

A  TACK MOUNT™ fastener is fixed to metals in the same way as a METAL TACK™ using the specially designed lightweight portable air hammer equipped with a magnetic driver.
The air hammer uses compressed air at between 4 to 7 bars ( 60-100 psi).

The TACK MOUNT™ is held on the tip of a magnetised driver, which allows the operator a clear view of his fastening operation.

The operator simply positions the TACK MOUNT™  where he or she  wants to fix the wires or cables and presses down onto the base metal and then squeezes the trigger.
The air pressure forces the TACK MOUNT™ into the base metal which creates its own grip around the groove in the point of the METAL TACK™ assuring an effective and secure fastening that will need up to 115 kg of force to pull it out !!

No Surface Preparation is needed

The hardened steel fastener integrated into the TACK MOUNT™ fastener drives through dirt, oil, grease and most paints.
