Use METAL-TACK™ self piercing rivets to fasten serial number plates, ID tags, clamps etc to steels, other metals and castings up to 100 HRB hardness (equal to 240 BRINELL).

METAL-TACK™ fasteners were developed to fix light loads to pumps, valves, gearboxes etc. and are available in 3 types :

  • Tempered Carbon Steel with Zinc Chrome plating  suitable for most applications. These self piercing rivets withstand over 120 hours  in salt spay tests before any sign of  deterioration.
  • Stainless Steel for exceptional  longevity in difficult environments.
  • RDS Tool Steel  for use in harder metals.

There are also many different sizes  to allow users to account for different part thicknesses and the hole sizes drilled in the part to be fastened.

A METAL-TACK™ fastener can resist up to  115 Kg traction.
